A farm has always combined work and life under one roof - working with land, soil and animals.

For many families and generations, the FiSCHERGUT estate also meant home and livelihood. We consciously chose to live in the countryside together about 15 years ago and redefined agriculture for ourselves in the age of digitalization. In this way, we strive to continue it in a contemporary economic form. Today's home office allows us to work our "side jobs" from home.


Our farm, with 70,000 square meters of green space and around 30,000 square meters of forest, was already geared towards grassland farming with sheep breeding by our parents, and we are running it in the second generation.


As "newcomers" to the lifestyle, a holiday on a farm was a logical step for us that completed our life in the countryside.


As farmers, we work according to weather conditions, are committed to sustainable farming and meat production, and are proud of our certifications. As a top-quality product, we produce premium meat from our organic farm, focusing on slow growth and sustainable production. Our animals are treated with respect and kept in a species-appropriate and environmentally friendly manner. Lamb is among the healthiest types of meat. It achieves top scores in valuable nutrients such as essential fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals – and it is also low in fat. The fatty acids it contains lower blood cholesterol levels and help prevent heart disease.It prevents circulatory diseases. The high proportion of conjugated linoleic acid also inhibits cancer.


To make the farm economically viable and sustainable for future generations, initial renovations began in 2014. At that time, the goal was to focus the business on "farm holidays" and to utilize the existing land and buildings to offer our guests a genuine nature experience with a sense of freedom. Simultaneously, we pursued the vision of creating a 100% digital business model where customers receive maximum service and want for nothing – from a digital guest directory and 24/7 AI chatbots to fully integrated self-check-in and smart direct marketing. We are starting our fifth season at the FiSCHERGUT Nature Resort in 2025 and are delighted that you have found us.


As entrepreneurs, we are “barons and baronesses” over our time and use all the opportunities that the Internet offers us (automation, building technology, process design, telephone and video conferences, online sales,…) to work throughout Europe.


And even though it's our workplace and 24 hours in a day are usually not enough – for you, it should be a place to relax and enjoy nature. So sit back and just chill out. Andrea & Martin's part-time job

We're often asked what our actual job is. Well, we can't really answer that. We love the diversity and simply try to do everything as well as we can, given the circumstances. Our motto is: "Do what you can, with what you have, where you are," and our experience shows that this usually works very well. When we start something new, it takes some time until the processes are running smoothly, but then it works.


Andrea is a passionate hostess, farmer, and doctor. As a specialist in family and general medicine with numerous additional qualifications, she founded the Wolfgangsee Health Center, where she now works as a doctor. With a lot of heart, down-to-earth nature and a feel for people, she and her family shape life at the Fischergut estate.


Martin is an entrepreneur, investment manager, and advisory board member – and he helps out at FiSCHERGUT wherever needed. He founded his first company back in 2003. Today, his portfolio includes UBVA Group several specialized companies such as (among others) CASHFINDER, 5th Mind, MOTH shop,Vitalogic, MRD Physicom...) with around 20 employees in 5 countries – and now even more AI agents ;-). What he finds particularly exciting: interesting people, good conversations, and companies with potential. Anyone interested in exchanging ideas – just get in touch.
